These terms apply to services provided by Aussie Gleam (ABN 43 193 457 086) (“we”, “us”, “our”) and to your use of aussiegleam.com. By requesting a quote, making a booking or using our website you agree to these terms.

1. Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law

Our goods and services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL). Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any right or remedy you have under the ACL or any other law that cannot lawfully be excluded. If a service fails to meet a consumer guarantee, you may be entitled to have it fixed, re-performed or refunded, and to compensation for reasonably foreseeable loss.

2. Our services and prices

We provide mobile car detailing, car, caravan and home mould removal, fleet cleaning and gift vouchers across South East Queensland. Current packages and prices are shown on our website and confirmed when you book.

All prices are in Australian dollars. Prices shown on our website are a guide and may change; the price in your written quote or booking confirmation applies.

3. Quotes

Quotes are based on the information you give us and are valid for 30 days unless stated otherwise. If the job turns out to be materially different from what was described, we will discuss any change in price with you before doing extra work.

4. Bookings and payment

A booking request is confirmed once we confirm the date, time and price with you by phone, text or email. Payment is due on completion of the service unless we agree otherwise (fleet and commercial clients may be invoiced on agreed terms). We need safe access to the vehicle, caravan or property, and access to water and power where required; please remove valuables and personal items before we arrive.

5. Cancellations and rescheduling

Please give us at least 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule. We may charge a call-out fee for late cancellations or if we cannot access the vehicle or property at the agreed time. We may need to reschedule for unsafe weather or circumstances beyond our control, in which case we will offer the next available time at no extra cost.

6. Results and existing condition

We will carry out our services with due care and skill. Results depend on the condition of the vehicle, surfaces and materials, so some stains, odours, damage, wear or mould staining may not be fully removable; we will tell you before we start if we think this is likely. Please tell us about any existing damage or delicate surfaces. Mould removal treats visible mould and affected surfaces; recurrence can depend on moisture and ventilation outside our control.

7. Fleet services

Fleet and commercial cleaning is provided on the schedule, scope and pricing agreed in writing with you.

8. Gift vouchers

Gift vouchers are valid for at least 3 years from the date of purchase, as required by the Australian Consumer Law; the expiry date is shown on the voucher. Vouchers can be used for the package or amount stated and are not redeemable for cash except as required by law. Bookings using a voucher are subject to availability. Lost vouchers may be re-issued at our discretion with proof of purchase.

Liability

Subject to section 1, and to the extent permitted by law: (a) where our liability for failing to comply with a consumer guarantee can be limited, it is limited to supplying the services again or paying the cost of having them supplied again; and (b) we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death, personal injury, or loss caused by our negligence or wilful misconduct.

Intellectual property

The content of our website, including text, images, illustrations, characters, logos and design, is owned by or licensed to us and may not be copied or reused without our permission.

Privacy

We handle your personal information in line with our Privacy Policy.

Website use

We aim to keep our website accurate and available, but information on it is general and may change. You must not misuse the website, including by submitting false information or attempting to interfere with its operation.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia. You and we submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Queensland.
